Explaining the word “Cunt”
I’ve been interested to find today that the word “cunt,” which is used in our society most commonly as a degrading insult, is actually an old term that was demonized by medieval clergymen.
As our friend LaciGreen highlights, inspired by the work of Barbara G. Walker, the word is derived from the name for one of the Great Oriental Goddesses: Cunti or Kunda, the “Yoni of the Universe.” It was a word that represented beauty, power and the amazing ability of the female body to bring new life into the world.

Hmm. I won’t be prepared to offer my final verdict on the historical role of Christianity until I finish Johnson’s history. Sadly, I had to return it before I left school, so I’m without a copy. I think that tomorrow I’ll order one from Laissez-faire books — none of the stores around here have it. I guess that the best way to think about the question is to understand the possible interpretations of it. Thus, if Christianity were the one true way, then it would be difficult to conclude that Christianity was over-all a bad thing. One might point out excesses, but these would never be particularly convincing to the believer; after all, what earthly ill can compare to the wonder of eternal salvation?
So I suppose that my queries into the historical role of Christianity presuppose its falsity, at least to some extent. But I can think of three other important versions of the question.
First, one could wonder if Christianity usually elevated people’s moral character (understood broadly) above what it would otherwise have been. Note that this requires that we have some idea about what is moral; for I might concede that Christianity generally repressed people’s sexuality, but hold that free sexual expressible is basically a good thing, in which case the moral influence was bad.
Second, one could wonder if Christianity promoted respect for individual rights, law-abiding behavior, and other basic building blocks necessary for civilization to exist at all.
Third, one could wonder if Christianity has made people on the whole happier than they would have been in its absence.
But wait. I think that I am too hasty. I consider Christianity only in comparison to what was most likely to replace it. While this is reasonable to some degree, it might be that all of the alternatives were bad, so Christianity deserves condemnation (albeit a milder one) even if it did have a net positive influence. I suppose that this criticism would be most reasonable if one had a new and positive alternative to all of the major cultural forces throughout history — at least that would show that one wasn’t expecting the impossible.

Why then cannot one single pathetic little christian come forward and ask, what the fuck is up with Zuma? Why is nothing being said, or anything being done? Why is this being tolerated?

Go to your dead-end job and mumble between yourselves about how many corrupt assholes are running this country. Christians might have allot of faith in their “God”, but from where I’m standing, your God is more useless than Jacob Zuma.
Don’t worry, Zuma and his fucking helpers will try to make another love child, but this time it will be the country you are desperately trying to survive. At the end of the day, all you can do is laugh, because South Africa is one big joke.

Let’s not beat around the bush on this issue: The swine flu vaccines now being prepared for mass injection into infants, children, teens and adults have never been tested and won’t be tested before the injections begin. The father of an 11-year old girl, who died in 2008 of undiagnosed diabetes, went to trial in Wisconsin. This man and his wife believed that prayer would cure their gravely ill daughter, even after she became too weak to walk, speak, eat, or drink. Dale Neuman told police he believed God would heal his daughter, Madeline, right up until she stopped breathing. Police also said that Neuman “professed to believe God was going to bring Madeline back to life.”

This in a logical sense means that Fred took it up on himself to be the mouth of his god. Basically it means he forces his opinions onto others and uses his doctrine as the perfect excuse. This man is not preaching the word of god, he preaching his hate. He is obsessed with homosexuals, and everything he hates is called “fag” in his words. It reminds me of a 3 year old mentality, where the little toddler learns a word and the refers to everything with that word. The only phsycological reason for expressing hate of this magnitude is simple. He was fucked in the ass when he went to his catholic church. Now it has culminated to this.
